What is a QR code?
QR code, which stands for Quick Response code, is a two-dimensional barcode which can be easily read by a machine, such as a mobile phone. A typical QR code exists of a pattern made out of black and white squares. The pattern can be decoded to extract the data it contains. The QR code is invented by Denso Wave to mark individual components inside their logistics, and create a more efficient process.

How long are the QR codes valid for?
The QR codes are valid forever. The QR codes are static and the content can’t be altered afterwards, but you will be able to scan them forever.
The QR code does not work/scan
There could be different reasons for the QR code to not work as intended. First you should check that the content is correct. Also if the QR code is customized, make sure there is enough contrast between the foreground and background. Also try to increase the size of the QR code, or decrease the content size. A bigger QR code can be harder to scan for QR code scanner apps.
Which formats are supported
Our generator has support for vector files such as SVG and EPS, these formats can be resized without losing any quality. Image formats in PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF and WEBP. These format loses quality when they are resized. 3D formats such as 3MF, STL and OBJ which can be used in 3d modeling software or 3d printing.
